GOD RULING AND ACTING FROM HEAVEN

Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other. Keep His decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time. Deuteronomy chapter 4, verses 39 through 40.

Look down from heaven, Your holy dwelling place and bless Your people Israel and the land You have given us as You promised on oath to our forefathers, a land flowing with milk and honey. Deuteronomy chapter 26, verse 15.

I saw the Lord sitting on His throne with all the hosts of heaven standing around Him on His right and on His left. First Book of Kings, chapter 22, verse 19.

David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly saying, Praise be to You, O Lord, God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Yours, oh Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor. For everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Oh Lord, is the kingdom. You are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from You. You are the ruler of all things. In Your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. First Book of Chronicles chapter 29, verses 10 through 12.

You alone are the Lord, You give life to everything and the multitudes of heaven worship You. Nehemiah chapter 9, verse 6.

The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers gathered together against the Lord and against His anointed one. Let us break their chains, they say, and throw off their fetters. Psalm 2, verses 2 through 6.

The Lord looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. Psalm 14 verse 2.

From heaven, the Lord looks down and sees all mankind. From His dwelling place, He watches all who live on earth. He who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do. No king is saved by the size of his army, no warrior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance. Despite all it's great strength, it cannot save. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. Psalm 33 verses 13 through 19

O Lord Almighty, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, You alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth. Isaiah chapter 37, verse 16,

The Lord declares, as the Heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My word that goes out from My mouth, it will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah chapter 55, verses 9 through 11.

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this says the Lord Almighty and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. Malachi chapter 3, verse 10.

This then is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew chapter 6, verses 9 through 10.

I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. And whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. Matthew chapter 18, verses 18 through 19.

(which means "Be opened!). Mark chapter 7, verses 32 through 34.

I looked and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me, like a trumpet said, Come up here and I will show you what must take place after this. At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow resembling an emerald encircled the throne. Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. Before the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven Spirits of God. Also, before the throne, there was what looked like a sea of glass clear as crystal.

In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front, and in back. The first living creature was like a lion. The second was like an ox. The third had a face like a man. The fourth was like a flying Eagle. Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under his wings. Day and night they never stopped saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come."

Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, and who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever endeavor. They lay their crowns before the throne and say, "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power for You created all things and by Your will, they were created and have their being." Revelation chapter 4 verses 1 through 11.

And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea and all that is in them singing, "To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever." Revelation chapter 5, verse 13.

After this, I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count from every nation, tribe, people and language standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice, Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb. All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God saying, Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength, be to our God forever and ever. Amen! Revelation chapter 7, verses 9 through 12

This seventh angel sounded his trumpet. And there were loud voices in heaven which said, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever. And the twenty-four elders who were seated on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God saying, We give thanks to You, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was because You have taken Your great power and have begun to rein. The nations were angry and Your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead and for rewarding Your servants, the prophets and Your saints and those who reverence Your name both small and great, and for destroying those who destroy the Earth. Then God's temple in heaven was opened and within His temple was seen the ark of His covenant and there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hail storm. Revelation chapter 11, verses 15 through 19.

HEAVEN REVEALED ON EARTH, INTERACTING WITH EARTH.

When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the word on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar on top of the wood. Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven, Abraham! Abraham! Here I am, he replied. Do not lay a hand on the boy. Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God because you have not withheld from Me your son, your only son. Genesis chapter 22, verses 9 through 12

When Jacob reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep. He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. There above it stood the Lord and He said, I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring. I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go. And I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you. When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it. He was afraid and said, How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God. This is the gate of heaven. Genesis chapter 28, verses 11 through 17.

The angel of the Lord appeared to Moses in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire, it did not burn up. So Moses thought, I will go over and see this strange sight - why the bush does not burn up. When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, Moses! Moses! And Moses said, Here I am. Do not come any closer, God said. Take off your sandals for the place where you are standing is holy ground. Exodus chapter 3, verses 2 through 5.

I know a man in Christ to 14 years ago was caught up to the third heaven, whether it was in the body or out of the body, I do not know - God knows. And I know that this man - whether in the body or apart from the body, I do not know but God knows - was caught up to paradise. He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell. Second Book of Corinthians chapter 12, verses 2 through 4.

ANGELS AS GOD'S HEAVENLY SERVANTS AND MESSAGE

God sent an angel to destroy Jerusalem. But as the angel was doing so, the Lord saw it and was grieved because of the calamity, and said to the angel who was destroying the people, Enough, withdraw your hand. The Angel of the Lord was then standing at the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.

The Lord has established His throne in heaven and His kingdom rules over all. Praise the Lord, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His bidding, who obey His Word. After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook became like dead men. The angel said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here. He has risen just as He said. Matthew chapter 28, verses 1 through 6.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you. You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests. When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about. An angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus because He will save His people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet. The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son and they will call Him Emmanuel, which means God with us. Matthew chapter 1, verses 20 through 23.

John chapter 6, verses 38 through 40.

THE NATURE OF HEAVEN, GOD'S KINGDOM

I am always with You, God, You hold me by my right hand. You guide me with Your counsel and afterward, You will take me into glory, whom have I in heaven but You and Earth has nothing I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. Psalm 73, verses 23 through 26.

I will declare that Your love stands firm forever, that You have established Your faithfulness in heaven itself. Psalm 89 verse 2.

Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Luke chapter 6, verses 35 through 36.

There will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Luke chapter 15 verse 7.

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans chapter 14, verse 17.

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy, drunkenness, orgies and the like. I warn you as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law. Galatians chapter 5 verses 19 through 23.

Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews chapter 12, verse 1.

JESUS RULING FROM HEAVEN

Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age. Matthew chapter 28, verses 18 through 20.

Jesus said to them, Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe in My name, they will drive out demons, they will speak in new tongues, they will pick up snakes with their hands, and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all. They will place their hands on sick people and they will get well. After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and He sat at the right hand of God. Mark chapter 16, verses 15 through 19.

Jesus said, I am going to send you what My Father has promised, but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high. He is before all things and in Him, all things hold together. Colossians chapter 1, verses 15 through 17.

The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. So He became as much superior to the angels as the name He has inherited is superior to theirs. Hebrews chapter 1 verses 3 through 4.

We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man. Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one. He entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God's presence. Hebrews chapter 8 verses 1 through 2, chapter 9, verse 24.

Jesus Christ has gone into heaven and is that God's right hand with angels, authorities, and powers in submission to Him. First Book of Peter chapter 3, verses 21 through 22.

HEAVENLY BOOKS OF RECORD BOOK OF LIFE NAMES WRITTEN IN HEAVEN

Your eyes saw my unformed body all the days ordained for me written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139, verse 16.

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy, nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. Luke chapter 10, verses 19 through 20.

I asked you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers whose names are in the book of life. Philippians chapter 4, verse 3.

You have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly to the church of the firstborn whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. Hebrews chapter 12, verses 22 through 24.

He who overcomes will like them be dressed in white, I will never blot out His name from the book of life, but will acknowledge His name before My Father and His angels. Revelation chapter 3, verse 5.

And I saw the dead great and small standing before the throne, and books were opened. another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that was in it. And death and Hades gave up the dead that was in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation chapter 20, verses 12 through 15.

Nothing impure will ever enter the holy city, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life. Revelation chapter 21, verse 27.

HEAVENLY ETERNAL REWARDS.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven. For in the same way, they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew chapter 5, verses 10 through 12.

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil end the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Be careful not to do your acts of righteousness before men to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. So that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father who is unseen. Then your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. Matthew chapter 5 verse 44, through chapter 6 verse 6.

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moths and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew chapter 6, verses 19 through 20.

Whoever acknowledges Me before men, I will also acknowledge him before My Father in heaven, but whoever disowned Me before men, I will disown him before My Father in heaven. Matthew chapter 10, verses 32-33

Anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward and anyone who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is My disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward. Matthew chapter 10, verses 41 through 42.

The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again. And then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. Matthew chapter 13, verses 44 through 46.

The Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels and then He will reward each person according to what he has done in Matthew chapter 16 verse 27

Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets. Luke chapter 6, verses 22 through 23.

Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is there your heart will be also. Luke chapter 12, verses 32 through 34.

So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers, you are God's field God's building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it, but each one should be careful how he builds, for no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is because the day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames. First Book of Corinthians chapter 3, verses 7 through 15.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. Second Book of Corinthians chapter 5, verse 10.

Serve wholeheartedly as if you were serving the Lord, not men because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free. Ephesians chapter 6 verses 7 through 8.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians chapter 3, verses 23 through 24.

Do not throw away your confidence, it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised. For, in just a very little while, He who is coming will come and will not delay. But My righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him. But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed but of those who believe and are saved. Hebrews chapter 10 verses 35 through 39.

By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God, rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as having greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. Hebrews chapter 11, verses 24 through 26.

Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. Second Book of John chapter 1 verses 8 through 9.

Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of My God. Never again will he leave it, I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from My God. And I will also write on him My new name. Revelation chapter 3, verse 12.

Behold, I am coming soon, My reward is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who washed their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolators and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. I, Jesus, have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star. Revelation chapter 22, verses 12 through 16.

JESUS CHRIST'S RETURN FROM HEAVEN, RULE OVER EARTH

In my vision that night I looked, and there before me was one like a Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into His presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power. All peoples, nations, and men of every language worshiped Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. Daniel chapter 7 verses 13 through 14.

In the future, you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One, and coming on the clouds of heaven. Matthew chapter 26, verse 64

Jesus said to them, It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. And you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. After He said this, He was taken up before their very eyes and a cloud hid Him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as He was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them, Men of Galilee, they said, Why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus who has been taken from you into heaven will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven. Acts chapter 1, verses 7 through 11.

God made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Christ to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one the head, even Christ. Ephesians chapter 1, verses 9 through 10.

God exalted Jesus to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Philippians chapter 2, verses 9 through 11.

Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body. Philippians chapter 3, verses 20 through 21.

Since then you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died and your life is now hidden with Christ and God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Colossians chapter 3, verses 1 through 4.

The Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven in blazing fire with His powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God ... on the day He comes to be glorified in His holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. Second Book of Thessalonians chapter 1, verses 7 through 8, 10.

I looked and there before me was a white horse. It's rider held a bow, and He was given a crown, and He rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest. Revelation chapter 6, verse 2.

I saw heaven standing open, and there before me was a white horse whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice, He judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written on Him that no one knows but He Himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following Him riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty, on His robe and on His thigh He has this name written, King of kings and Lord of lords. Revelation chapter 19, verses 11 through 16.

OUR HEAVENLY HOME ETERNAL LIFE

In My Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you will also be where I am. John chapter 14 verses 2 through 3.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God and eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile, we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened because we do not wish to be unclothed, but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord. We live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please Him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. Second Book of Corinthians chapter 4, verse 16, through chapter 5, verse 9.

We have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints, the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven, and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel that has come to you. Colossians chapter 1 verses 4 through 6.

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep or to grieve like the rest of men who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again. And so we believe that God will bring with Jesus, those who have fallen asleep in Him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. First Book of Thessalonians chapter 4, verses 13 through 17.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade, kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. The First Book of Peter, chapter 1, verses 3 through 5.

I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Now the dwelling of God is with men and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, I am making everything new! Revelation chapter 21, verses 2 through 5.

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Revelation chapter 21 verse 23.
