THE SPIRIT OF JEZEBEL IN THE SONG "HALLELUJAH"

HALLELUJAH sung by Bon Jovi is on the rise. Even though it is an old song, from now on, it is starting to be active and sung by famous artists. Wikipedia states that this song has been performed by more than 200 artists in various languages.

I myself did not pay attention to the words for I just loved the music and melody. A friend told me that it was a song of adultery between David and Bathsheba. I was shocked when I heard this. I immediately did research on the composer. This time I took a good, hard look at the song's lyrics.

Here is the full Hallelujah lyrics:

I've heard there was a secret chord

That David played and it pleased the Lord

But you don't really care for music, do you?

It goes like this: the fourth, the fifth

The minor fall, the major lift

The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof

You saw her bathing on the roof

Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you

She tied you to a kitchen chair

She broke your throne, she cut your hair

And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Maybe I've been here before

I know this room, I've walked this floor

I used to live alone before I knew you

I've seen your flag on the marble arch

Love is not a victory march

It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

There was a time you let me know

What's real and going on below

But now you never show it to me, do you?

And remember when I moved in you

The holy dark was moving too

And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Maybe there's a god above

And all I ever learned from love

Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you

It's not a cry you can hear at night

It's not somebody who's seen the light

It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

When I read and studied the lyrics of the song I started to get shocked and confused. How could this song become a spiritual song…?

Is it because there is the word “Hallelujah, Hallelujah…?"

The content of the song is about the love, albeit adulterous, relationship between two humans. There is absolutely no element of glorifying the name of God. If the content of this so-called praise song only describes the love relationship between a man and a woman, then how is it different from worldly songs?

I got wisdom from the Holy Spirit. There is a spirit of Jezebel, a spirit of adultery that moves and inspires the songwriter and makes this song worldwide to mislead as many people, including God's sheep if that is possible. The devil's strategy to mislead God's children through this song is very successful.

The person who composed the song "Hallelujah" is Leonard N. Cohen. After I researched his biography, here are some important things that should be underlined:

Leonard Norman Cohen CC GOQ (September 21, 1934 – November 7, 2016) was a Canadian singer, songwriter, poet, and novelist. His work explored religion, politics, isolation, depression, sexuality, loss, death and romantic relationships

Cohen had a brief phase around 1970 of being interested in a variety of world views, which he later described as "from the Communist party to the Republican Party. From Scientology to delusions of me as the High Priest rebuilding the Temple".

Cohen was involved with Buddhism beginning in the 1970s and was ordained a Buddhist monk in 1996; he continued to consider himself Jewish: "I'm not looking for a new religion. I'm quite happy with the old one, with Judaism." Beginning in the late 1970s, Cohen was associated with Buddhist monk and rōshi (venerable teacher) Kyozan Joshu Sasaki, regularly visiting him at Mount Baldy Zen Center and serving him as personal assistant during Cohen's period of reclusion at Mount Baldy monastery in the 1990s.

"Hallelujah" was first released on Cohen's studio album Various Positions in 1984, and he sang it during his Europe tour in 1985. This was the time he was immersed in Buddhism.

In 1994, Cohen retreated to the Mt. Baldy Zen Center near Los Angeles, beginning what became five years of seclusion at the center. In 1996, Cohen was ordained as a Rinzai Zen Buddhist monk and took the Dharma name Jikan, meaning "silence". He served as a personal assistant to Kyozan Joshu Sasaki Roshi.

The song "Hallelujah" plays at the level of the human soul. And it doesn't move at all at the spiritual level. What is the difference between this song and worldly songs that can make people cry if they sing their hearts out?

There is a Catholic priest who has become a YouTube sensation when he sang this song “Hallelujah” at a wedding. He may not have realized that he was releasing the spirit of Jezebel on the married couple whose wedding he performed and all the other married couples present in that wedding.

Today, on Youtube you can also see many church choirs performing this song as a public presentation in their churches. Again, they may not realize that they are releasing the spirit of Jezebel over the mainly Christian audience, thereby potentially wrecking many marriages in time to come. Most couples would not know what hit them and would not be able to trace their marital problems to attending this song's performance.

Some Christians have altered the lyrics to words that depict the death and resurrection of Jesus for Easter Sunday. Sounds very appropriate. After all, what harm can it bring? But the melody and the music were composed in Hell, and demons recognize the music as the devil’s property. So demons may still descend and swarm churches that sing an Easter version of Cohen’s Hallelujah.

Recently, at the conclusion of the Republican National Convention at the White House on 27 August 2020, Opera Singer Christopher Macchio sang two songs that also would be releasing two demonic principalities over the White House. One is Cohen’s Hallelujah and the other is Ave Maria. Ave Maria is supposedly dedicated to Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Catholics call her the Mother of God. But in the spirit, this song Ave Maria is sung in honor of the Queen of Heaven, the fallen angel principality that rules the second heaven that is filled with demon principalities and strongholds. Thus, by two fell swoops, the singer unleashed two demon principalities over the RNC audience that night, the spirit of Jezebel and the Queen of Heaven.

But Christians in America have been covering the President and the White House with much prayer and fasting, so the deadly effects of this twin principalities, Jezebel and the Queen of Heaven may be mitigated.

  1. This same guy wrote a song "You want it darker, we kill the flame" Very cryptic, always wondered what he meant by that.
