ASTRAL WEAKENING DEVICES AGAINST BELIEVERS
Let us pray. Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we come to You pleading that Your mighty Spirit will strengthen us. Remove from us all our weaknesses. Let your Spirit grant us the excellence in the realms of Your life and cause us to be steadfast to uphold the standards of the Holy Spirit. So that we will move forward on the path of light on the path of the divine essence and also for the rise of others to be empowered. This we pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
ASTRAL WEAKENING DEVICES 1: SLEEP WAVES
When we talk about weakening devices of darkness, we are talking about the strategy of warfare. As a believer, every believer is in warfare. When you are fighting a war, you don't expect your enemies to fold their hands. They come out and also fight back.
When you pray in the name of the Lord, when you take a stand in the name of the Lord in light, you are setting different units and chambers and strongholds of the astral forces in disarray and confusion. You are lifting up a standard by which they will remember. And do you expect them to fold their hands? That's why the astral forces launch attacks to weaken the believers.
Their game plan is to attack believers. What the hosts of darkness do is to launch weakening devices against the ones among them that have the capacity of transmitting light. When you are praying and worshipping God with all your heart, you are emitting the light of God.
You are the light of God and the light goes into the vastness of the ecosystems of our world. This light subjects these hosts of darkness in different ways. They don't want that light. They do a counterattack against that light by launching the weakening devices.
Foremost among the weakening devices is what we call sleep waves. Now sleep wave is launched every day, every hour in every part of this world.
It is programmed to attack prayerful people who are transmitting light. This sleep wave will go and hover them. If the sleep wave detects any small weakness or wickedness in them, it will attack them. The sleep wave will reduce the prayfulness of that man.
The weak believer is captured within the phantasmagoria of sleep wave. He is already like a defeated person. I'm talking in terms of prayer aspects.
But when this sleep wave is launched, it goes around and finds praying persons that are emitting light and continues to launch wave after wave of sleepiness against them. The sleep waves go on until the weakness of the praying person surfaces. The sleep waves continue to strike until there’s an opportunity of weakness in the praying person.
So, the plan of darkness is that if a city has 400 praying believers, the astral forces want to reduce them to the point that only 100 or 200 praying believers will remain.
The light that praying believers is transmitting is what bamboozles the network of darkness. What I'm telling you is the secret format of what goes on daily.
You must be aware of sleep waves.
Sometimes people ask me, “What is the best time to pray? Is it from 12 midnight to 3 am?”
I tell you, the best time to pray is when you are weak to pray. The moment you are weak to pray, that is the best time to pray to send back the sleep wave that has come into your microcosm. When you do that, the sleep wave reduces gradually until it is completely dispelled and you can keep on praying for hours without feeling sleepy.
One day seven pastors came to my house to pray. One of them was George who is a well-respected man. He covered himself with a prayer shawl and the others thought he was praying. But I knew he was captured by the sleep waves. So as not to embarrass him, I would hit him from time to time and he would wake up and pray loudly in tongues. Then he would go quiet again and start sleeping. He deceived himself by thinking or pretending that he is praying but he is under the captivity of the sleep waves.
There was a man of God that came to me. And he told me that he has come for deliverance. Whenever he wants to pray, sleep would overpower him.
A lot of people are overcome by sleep waves when the ministration is going, or where the Word of God is preached. When everything is finished, when the prayer vigil is ended, they become very strong. When they want to drive the car or do other things, they are strong. The moment they come to prayer, they fall asleep.
Fight against that. Pray to be delivered from such manipulation of the sleep waves.
Another man of God came to me, a good man, but he confessed that when he kneels down to pray, sleepiness would take over him. Then he would see a fowl walking and he was following the fowl to see where it was going. Then suddenly he realizes he was dreaming and then he forced himself to wake up and continue praying.
Sleep waves attack those people who have the capacity to destroy certain networks of darkness. The sleep waves capture them so that their capacity will not be activated. Their capacity will remain in the potential. They will not come into the limelight and their ministry is limited.
There are so many people with ministries but they don't pray in their houses. I am telling you that you have to stop that. Be prayerful.
This man of God was under the phantasmagoria of sleep wave. He came and the Lord delivered him and the Lord empowered him.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said Matthew 26:41, Watch and pray that you enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
May the Spirit of the Lord give us the enablement to be watchful, to be active in the Spirit, to pick up in the Spirit, to stand in the Spirit so that we're a strong light transmitting in our environment and causing damage to the network of darkness.
ASTRAL WEAKENING DEVICES 2: ATTACK ON POINT OF SPIRITUAL STRENGTH
I want us to read 1 Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
This particular scripture is very important. Because when you think that you are standing, that thinking is okay for as long as you are standing, but also be watchful. Because where you are standing upon the platform of light, you are a threat to the kingdoms of the network of darkness, to the systems of the astral forces.
In every war, you don't expect the opponents to fold their hands. They must do something too. When you think you're standing, when you are standing, be daily watchful and careful. Because the one that is standing is the one that transmits light and when light is emitted, darkness is conflicted.
So, when you are standing by the radiation of light, you also become a target of attack. And there are two major areas of concentrated and well-targeted astral attacks against humans especially a believer.
Apart from the sleep wave targeting individuals who have the capacity of manifesting the prayer potential of light, there are two major areas of concentrated astral attack arising from the weakening devices of darkness.
These areas include the point of strength and the point of weakness. Your point of strength in the journey of life arises from your higher essential aspect. Your point of weakness lies within the domain of your human nature as a human being.
You have the higher aspect and you have the lower aspect. Any weakness expressed by you flows through your lower aspect. The virtues manifested flows through your higher aspects.
Now, when you are situated in light, your higher aspect is a target of attack, so as to block the flow of the light radiation arising from there, so as to hinder us from going into motion and doing divine work in the systems of the astral world. Divine work is accomplished, beyond the physical environment of the location where you are, and it is accomplished arising from your essential, higher aspect.
So, the point of strength lies in your higher aspect. The lower aspect lies in human activities like eating and interacting with other human beings on a human level. Human activity in this world can also be separated from the ones that you do for the glory of God.
The ones that are purely extremely mundane or sinful are also just a weakness. Every human being has a weakness. And every human being has a point of strength.
Anything that is a point of strength will rise from you, to set free those who are in bondage. They are set free from your point of strength. Your point of strength is performed when the Spirit of God flows through you to accomplish things.
When the point of strength is blocked, or when you are dismembered or disarmed from your point of strength, it brings a kind of joy in the hierarchy of the astral forces, because it's a victory achieved.
Now, your point of weakness is the point through which the mercy of God comes to you because that is your weak point.
Now, the astral attack on that weak point is to cause exaggeration and acceleration of the weak points to reach a point that you will turn a blind eye to the weak point or a point where you yourself will be distressed or put to shame.
So the powers of darkness attack these specific points, the point of strength, and the point of weakness.
Now the point of your spiritual strength, you must find it out yourself because there's a persistent attack there
I am not dealing with the point of weakness, which we'll come to that later.
I am focused on the point of strength now. Your point of strength is very vital to you. In the journey of life, find it out. There is a persistent attack there.
One man's point of strength is not another man's point of strength. You have your point of spiritual strength, I have my point of spiritual strength. But in some instances, your point of spiritual strength and my point of spiritual strength may join together and we may come on the same platform.
But ultimately you have your point of spiritual strength. You have to find out your point of spiritual strength. If your point of spiritual strength lies in singing to the Almighty God, then whenever you open your mouth and sing, great things happen in your environment and beyond your environment. Then know that astral attack will come to that aspect of spiritual strength.
You can go and accomplish many things. God can use your spirit with the light of God to accomplish anywhere in the world. You are not limited the moment the spirit comes into operation, Space and Time goes into oblivion.
There is a point of concentration where the interchange of spirits of light work in the higher systems of realities and is intercepted by higher powers for the operation of light.
So, what takes place in the operation of light, the opposite is done in the operation of darkness.
Now, we are saying, therefore, that, when you have discovered your point of spiritual strength, just keep it up and uphold that point.
If you read the Bible very well in 1 Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
Because there's a possibility of falling from that point. From that point, you think you're standing, there's a possibility for you to fall from that point. It is therefore left for you to be careful, just left for you to be watchful. Don't pass over this lightly and say it doesn't matter. It matters because whatever that would defeat you, it is first of all your spiritual strength is defeated. If your spiritual strength is not defeated, then you will not be defeated.
Now, if you look at the case of Job, you will see where his spiritual strength lies. This spiritual strength of Job was embedded in integrity. Job was a man of divine integrity. He was classified as a perfect man before the Lord, a just man, and also a man of divine integrity.
And remember that this man was attacked on that specific point.
Let's take a brief look at the level of Job along the line of his spiritual strength. In the book of Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
This is the point of his spiritual strength that summarizes and defines integrity. He lives and maintains the standard and maintains this consciousness. And that was his point of strength.
Now, if read Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
Then Satan answered in Job 1:9-10
Job 1:9-10 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? 10 Hast not Thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
But if you look at what was said, that was from the observation of the prince of darkness. He saw the hedge around Job. What about that hedge that surrounds Job? Nothing can work against Job. It was because he stood upon the point of his spiritual strength.
The standard of Job was maintained at the point of spiritual strength and the prince of darkness cannot do anything. But the forces of darkness continue to strike that but they cannot bypass the point of spiritual strength and do anything.
Then you read Job 1:20-22 and see what happened to Job.
Job 1:20-22 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,
That was after all the attacks by Satan on the point of his spiritual strength.
Verse 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. 22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
His spiritual strength was still maintained even though he was attacked all round.
Then in another session, God now reminded Satan that Job stood upon the part of integrity although his materials have been taken away. The strength of Job has nothing to do with material things. It has to do with his obedience to the scriptures.
See, now we read the book of Job 2:3-10.
Job 2:3-10 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered My servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst Me against him, to destroy him without cause. 4 And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. 5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. 6 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand, but save his life. 7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. 8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal, and he sat down among the ashes. 9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. 10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
Amen. So that's what we are saying. Job is a typical example of a man of divine integrity, who stood upon his strength, and who never wavered from that point of his strength, even when his own wife mocked him and told him to curse God and die, because she thought by cursing God, that God would kill him.
Job has integrity, he maintained his standard. He knew that God is God; regardless of whatever happens, He remains God. And he maintains his standard.
By the time you finish studying the book of Job, you will see that this case was documented in the history of mankind, as one of the leading or possibly diligent example, of integrity. In the face of most vociferous temptations, multifarious attacks of different kinds of magnitude, he did not fall from the point of his spiritual strength.
And when your strength is under astral attack, you have to defend the part of strength. Your strength cannot let you rely on your money or your connection. No, no, no, no, no. Let the Lord of the Universe be your strength. Let your Almighty Father be your strength. Have total and absolute faith in Him. Then your strength will be invincible and impenetrable.
Let us read the book of Isaiah 12:2
Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation.
Let the Almighty Father, the Almighty God, be your strength. Let Him be your song that proceeds from your mouth. And you are bound to have victory.
In the face of all attack of the weakening devices of darkness, Job stood on his integrity.
What was the aim of Satan’s attacks on Job? It was to weaken Job’s integrity. That astral weakening device didn't work. Why? Because Job is among those persons who stood upon the platform of knowing that the Lord Jehovah is his strength.
Blessed is the man that the Almighty Father is his strength in the journey of life. For such a man will have victory all the days of his life. For such a man, even if the devil comes before him, whether the evil comes from man or woman, whether the evil comes from the enemy, from the east to the west, from far from near, from friends, from any element - if the Lord God Almighty is your strength, you will overcome all that comes to pull you down.
That is my prayer. I pray that the Almighty Father would be your strength. I pray that He remains my strength and the strength of all His children, collectively and individually, so that we will continue to lift up the banner of victory in love, in life, in peace in goodness of life in the field of battle to the Almighty Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
ASTRAL WEAKENING DEVICES 3: ATTACK ON POINT OF SPIRITUAL STRENGTH CONTINUED
I still want us to read 1 Corinthians 10:12, Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
Listen, a wise man learns by hearing. But a fool learns from experience. If there is a fire burning, a wise man will withdraw his hand. But a fool will put his hand in the fire and learn from experience. And then he will say that experience is the best teacher. Yes, in the human world you can say experience is the best teacher, but it defies faith. Experience is not the best teacher. Experience is just an experience.
We are still talking on this point of strength, still on the point of strength, your strength. Let not your strength be small. If your strength is small, your spiritual strength is small, it cannot withstand a bigger attack of the astral forces. The weakening devices coming upon it has more strength. We cannot bamboozle that strength. That's why our strength has to be big in the Almighty Father. We nourish our strength, grow our strength, grow from our strength. Because your strength is the link between you and the Spirit of God.
This is like David's spiritual strength. His spiritual strength is believing in God with all his heart. Though there was a concentration of attacks on his weaknesses, yet ultimately his spiritual strength in believing in God, his total faith in God, he became a friend of God, a man after the heart of the Almighty Father.
But David was a man that did a lot of atrocities. A man that cut hundreds of foreskins of other men as a dowry to marry a woman. He also took somebody's wife. Those were David’s weak points. But he became a friend of the Almighty from the point of his spiritual strength.
I say to you, let your point of spiritual strength be a no-go area in your life. But find it out.
And when you come to that understanding, analyze yourself and reach a conclusion that even that point of your strength is small. Physically, the way you feed your body, feed that your point of strength with the word of the Lord. Feeding your spiritual strength is a spiritual commitment and gives spiritual advancement so that it will rise from small strength.
Proverbs 24:10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
If you have any cause, any reason to faint on the day of adversity, if you say, well, I have come to my wits’ end, I want to die and lets God take my life away, you have been destroyed from the point of spiritual strength. You have been dropped from that point, and that point is small. If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. Let your strength arise above this small to the point of being magnified.
That's a point of strength. That point of your spiritual strength. Very important. That is the point that the heavens is looking for the power of God to go into manifestation.
When I have discovered my point of spiritual strength, I'm really picky. I'm divinely inspired and committed that don't allow food, man, woman, material things to come to that point. That's a no-go zone.
Because it's from that point, God flows through you and touches other humans and the powers of darkness are aware of that point. They'll come against you at that point. They know that if they block that point, then you are finished.
And it can happen to you. Any problem you have come from the defeat of the point of your spiritual strength or defeat arising from the point of your weakness. That's when you don't care about your point of weakness or when you take it for granted and becomes exaggerated, then a lot of things can flow to you.
Your point of weakness cause God to bring mercy upon you to cover you. We will come to that later.
If you take your point of weakness for granted and allow psychic exaggeration to occur from the point of weakness, then you can be brought to ruin.
There was this man whose spiritual strength is marital commitment. Since he was born, he never had any sexual relationship with any woman. As he married his wife, he never had any other woman. That was the point of the spiritual strength of this man. This man stood on that point of faithfulness.
It happened that I was invited to the United States to receive an honorary doctorate at that time for one of my works. They had the agents in Nigeria to do all the preparations for me to go to The United States for that.
The Lord came to me and warned me not to go. He said, “That place where you are invited to get that award is not approved by Me.”
It is a Christian institution, a Christian university that was not approved by Him for some reasons, which I won't go into now.
This man I'm talking about was a Reverend and also has a Master's degree in theology. When he heard that he came to me and said, “You are invited to go to America to receive an award. Why don't you go?”
I replied, “Should I disobey the Lord? Should I receive the award over my relationship to my God?”
He said, “No but that doesn't happen always. People are looking for the opportunity to go there.”
I said, “I lift up my eyes onto the hills, from whence cometh my help? My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Some of us have the attitude to lift up our eyes to America for dollars. But that's never our aim.”
He replied, “Can I link up with that institution and apply to finish my Ph.D.?”
I said, “Fine, okay, you want the link, I will make the link.”
He applied and he was invited to do his Ph.D. in theology under free sponsorship.
As he was preparing to go as well, the Lord came to me again and told me, “Tell him not to go for that study. If he truly desires to learn about God, then let him go to any interior village in Nigeria. People will steal his shoes and his money. He will learn how to tolerate; he will learn how to forgive. People may accuse him of stealing from their farms and he will learn how to forgive.”
Now, this is a senior minister that has a large church congregation here in Nigeria. But the man went and traveled to the United States. And this man, like I said, earlier, he was a virgin when he married. One of the points of his spiritual strength is faithfulness in his marriage. He is also a prayer warrior. You can have two or three points of spiritual strength and two or three weak points.
When he got there, the first thing he did was to start a spiritual warfare meeting but it was disbanded by the president of the Bible school. He told him that the prayer meeting is not approved, and gave him rules or regulations.
Like I told you, the astral forces will continue to strike on the point of spiritual strength. If you uphold your point of spiritual strength, you will defeat the astral forces. But if you submit your point of spiritual strength to the astral forces, they will have their way.
A woman lecturer started to come to him and that was by manipulation. One day, he and this woman went into a secret room and he got himself entangled in a sexual tryst. When he was on top of that act, he saw the president of the Bible school manifested in person. The president was a high profile witch.
Sometimes it can be a direct manifestation of such a person. Sometimes it can also be a camouflage manifestation. Camouflage manipulation means that other personages are used.
The president of the Bible college said, “Well done!” and gave him a slap.
Finished. He got paralyzed on the left side of the face to the left leg. He had to stop Bible College and return to Nigeria. A man that left Nigeria to go to the United States to study to learn about God now returned, paralyzed and unable to speak. The Lord didn't tell me to go and minister to him.
So, that was what happened. And you see, that man fell from the point of strength. The powers of darkness succeeded in having dominion over him from the point of his strength.
I want you to, once again, consider your points of strength and endeavor to oppose attacks on them. If you have a point of strength that every three o'clock in the morning you wake up, and between 3am to 6am your spirit is lively, guard your spiritual strength jealously. Another person may have another spiritual strength. The spiritual strengths are diverse but are interrelated. The Holy Spirit expects us to put our spiritual strengths together because that is the fastest way to accomplish victory individually and corporately.
I pray that the Almighty Father will uphold your spiritual strength to the glory of God. And I pray for the Almighty Father to come upon you to identify or recognize your spiritual strength and uphold that standard.
