8 GOSPEL MINISTERS & 17 CHURCH WORKERS IN HELL
PART 13
A forgiving Christian is a winning Christian, so no matter what the person must have done to you or how painful it is to you, please my dear, just forgive and let it go. When you let it go, something specific will happen in you. You will feel as if a heavy burden was lifted up from your shoulders. But when you grudge, you would feel so heavily burdened in your mind and such hinders answer to prayers. And if you do not know how to forgive and let go, just do what Jesus said for such a case, Jesus made an invitation thus, "Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28 KJV). As you open your mouth and say, “Jesus I have come to You so that You will take away grudge from me and give me rest. Please take away from me this heart that bears a grudge and give me a new heart that forgives and let go." Jesus will answer you.
“Whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” (John 14:13 KJV)
“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh” (Ezekiel 35:26 KJV)
It is excruciating to me anytime I hear Christians praying for the death of their human enemies. It is erroneous! If your enemies die, who do you think will make you strong? Your enemies are there to strengthen your faith in God. So, if they all die, you will gradually grow weak in faith and die off spiritually. We are called to save others. We are not called by God to destroy lives. Anybody who prays that his enemies should die does not understand what Christianity is all about. When you understand that Christianity is about compassion for perishing souls, you will not tell God to destroy the lives of your enemies. If a Christian is praying for the death of a witch or a wizard and he himself is standing against the progress of another, is he not an enemy to that person? Of course, he is. And if the person whom the Christian is standing against his progress start praying against his progress, do you think that Christian will go unpunished? Of course not, then the Bible says, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap. (Galatian 6:7 KJV)
It is absolutely painful seeing ministers of the gospel today telling the members of their church to pray for the death of their enemies, what sort of thing is that? Is that what the New Testament says? Some pastors are making their members charismatic murderers attempting murder with their prayer. And they call it dangerous prayer. They want to please their members by teaching them to be wicked. What sort of pleasure do you derive from doing that? If God must answer these wicked prayers by killing your enemies which souls will you proudly present before Him as your converts on the judgment day.
However, instead of praying that God should destroy our enemies, pray that God should convert them to good. David wouldn’t have become the man after God’s own heart if he had killed Saul when he had the opportunity to do so. It was love that made David find it difficult to kill Saul. Read 1 Samuel 24 and 26. Most Christians retaliate when their enemies do them wrong.
But the Bible says, “Recompense to no man evil for evil.” (Romans 12:17 KJV)
“Do not avenge for vengeance belongs to God.” (Hebrew 10:30 KJV)
“Not rendering evil or railing: but contrary blessing; knowing that ye are there unto called that ye should inherit a blessing.” (1 Peter 3:9 KJV)
Don’t love those who love you only but love everybody. Show kindness to everybody around you for this is an evidence of your Christianity. It is unbelievers that love those who love them and hate those who hate them. There are some Christians who love only those who are good to them, and they hate and abhor those who are bad to them. Jesus said in Matthew 5:46 KJV, “For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans do the same?”
Our relationship with others should make a difference. If we must love only those who love us in return we would not make any difference between unbelievers and ourselves for that is their way of living. Passion for lives should make us tolerant. We should not have to give the devil any foothold.
“So that Satan will not outsmart us, for we are familiar with his evil schemes.” (2 Corinthians 2:11 NLT)
Be careful about your deeds. One is punished or praised by what one does. You will either be condemned or congratulated by what you do. A good deed is a product of goodwill and a bad deed is evidence of evil intention. The angels of God in Heaven are taking records of what we are doing here on earth. Whether we are doing the right thing or wrong thing, God must reward us accordingly. Every deed that is contrary to the law attracts judgment. No lawbreaker will go unpunished. Do not join the train of those who always say God understands even when they are doing wrong things which are because of the pressure or circumstances surrounding you. And before you do anything either good or bad, enquire from God to know exactly His mind concerning that thing you want to do so that you will not make silly mistakes that may be detrimental to you physically, spiritually or otherwise.
HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH HOLY SPIRIT
This is the reason why you should have a cordial relationship WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT so that when you enquire from God about a particular issue, the Holy Spirit will reveal the answer to you expressly. The Bible says, “In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:6 KJV).
“Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatever He shall hear that shall He speak and He will show you things to come.” (John 16:13 KJV).
Invite the Holy Spirit into whatever you want to do and He will direct you on how to do it. He will also guide you along to see that you do exactly as He had told you. The reason why we have problems in our pursuits is that when we receive guidelines concerning the vision we have, we won’t invite the Holy Spirit to come and be our supervisor over the vision, rather we depend on the guidelines we have received than the Giver of the guidelines. This is a grievous mistake. It is total dependence on the Holy Spirit that will lead us into perfect work.
NOW IS THE TIME TO AMEND YOUR WAYS BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE
