2. KNOWING WHAT GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO DO

We are given specific works to do on earth, and it is very important we do them the way God wants us to do them. There are Christians, whom God has given a particular work to do for Him but because of the challenges surrounding them, they abandoned the work which God has given them to do and joined those who are performing signs and wonders in their ministries. Such Christians are risking their rewards in eternity. When a Christian has left what he was called to do which has great reward in eternity and is doing a different thing altogether, he will not have a good reward no matter the reason for his actions.

Again, there are Christians whom God asked to be going to hospitals and be praying for the sick that are there. But because they have seen that hospital ministration is not a money-making venture, they abandoned it and have resorted to be moving from pulpit to pulpit in the name of evangelism. Instead of going from one hospital to the other praying for the sick, God will require from their hands the blood of the sick ones who died in their illness.

The majority of those who had the calling of God upon their lives for a specific task has taken up a full-time pastoral work, which they have become full-time pastors of churches. God is disappointed in those preachers whom He called to be pastors but they abandoned it and opened a prayer ministry. This may be as a result of the challenges they were having in the church, or some other reasons which may best be known to them. Some would say that God understands the reasons for their actions. We agree that God understands the reasons for their actions, but the question is, does God approve of their reasons and actions because the wisdom of God is higher than the wisdom of men. One cannot be doing a different thing from the wisdom of men. One cannot be doing a different thing from what one is called to do, and be expecting good rewards from God. For God gives rewards according to the work we have done for Him.

Beloved do exactly what God called you to do, and don’t worry about how you will survive in this world. God who has called you will never let you beg for food. The Bible says, “So don’t worry about these things, saying what shall we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? These things dominate the thought of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, seek the kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. He will surely satisfy your selfless needs.” (Matthew 6:31-33 NLT)

So, when you do what God wants you to do, you will not struggle in life. He will open many ways for you. Although you may not have all you need at the moment, be patient knowing that God will not fail to provide for your needs. He will certainly fulfill His promise to you. Do not be deceived by what people are telling you. Do exactly what you were asked to do. Some people will tell you that you are stupid for doing things the way God has asked you. They may tell you all sorts of things that will upset you or weigh you down. Then in such a situation, all you have to do is to turn deaf ears to them and keep your mind focused on what you are doing. Even if you are reproached never mind. God must surely reward you abundantly. When you are doing something that is the will of God and nobody criticizes you for it, go back to God to know whether you are doing exactly what He asked you to do. For no good work is done without criticism.

Doing what God has not called you to do will make you lose the position in the Lord. Some ministers of the gospel have lost their spiritual positions because they were much interested in making themselves known in the society by the miracles they perform. And which has made them introduce diabolical powers into their ministries. They did this to be seen as powerful before men, but God knows those who are His and all who belong to the Lord must turn away from evil. (2 Timothy 2:19 NLT)

So, while you do the work of God, keep your heart pure, your mind clear, your hand clean and your eyes steadily focused on God knowing that in due time, He will reward you abundantly.

3. MIND YOUR WORDS

It is not what you think but what you say that matters and how you say it that matters most. What you say may give people a thought but how you say it may hurt them. It is expected of us to consider the impact our words will make on peoples’ lives, whether they will be positive or negative, before speaking them out. The Bible says, “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.” (Proverb 25:11 KJV)

Our words should bring RELIEF, COURAGE AND COMFORT.

“Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing.” (Proverb 12:18 NLT)

It is unfortunate that some Christians do not know how to use words rightly. They failed to understand that words have effects by the way they are spoken. And those words become more efficient when they are spoken wrongly. They have not understood that words can make or mar one’s destiny. Words can give life and they can also destroy it.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Proverb 18:21 KJV)

Words are capable of hurting feelings. I have been able to find out that some believers who backslid did not do so because of what they were going through. No, but because of what somebody – who they had expected to encourage and comfort them on what they were going through – told them. When somebody backslid, died and went to Hell, do you think that the person who contributed to his backsliding will be of his or her blood? No, he won’t be! Because he cannot contribute to somebody’s destruction and be expecting to be considered guiltless.

It is written, “For time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it must begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God. And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear?” (1 Peter 4:16-18 KJV)

Therefore you ought to be careful about how you use your words on people. Abusive words are destructive and pleasant words are appealing.

“A gentle answer deflects anger but harsh word makes tempers flare.” (Proverb 15:1 NLT)

Any comment you think it doesn’t matter, matters a lot before God. Hence unpleasant and abusive words that are carelessly or intentionally spoken have reward which will be given on the judgment day.

Jesus said, “But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment.” (Matthew 12:36 KJV)

Some souls had gone to Hellfire because of careless words that someone had used on them. You ought to learn how to control your tongue. Bridle it for your tongue will control you to an extent that you may find yourself behind the police bar or in the grave where your body will become sand while your soul will be suffering in Hellfire.

The Bible says, “Whoso keepeth his mouth and tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.” (Proverbs 21:23 KJV)

Your words can put you into trouble if you fail to use them rightly and wisely. But if you use your words carefully, you will have peace in your life.

In Proverb 13:3 (KJV), we see this statement, “He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life; but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.”

The tongue is one of the smallest parts of the body but its strength can destroy a nation without any sophisticated weapon. The tongue is very strong, use it wisely! Control your emotions. Don’t overreact on offenses for it is the devil’s STRATEGY TO FIGHT YOU. However, let the Holy Spirit take control of the period so as to bring glory to God at last. The Bible says, “Don’t sin by letting anger control you. Think about it overnight and remain silent.” (Psalms 4:4 NLT)

PART 10

Having been exposed to the torment of Hell, as well as individuals’ statements through interviews, the Lord sounded a serious warning to me. 

He said to me, “You are bought here twice to know and to understand that Hell is a reality, and its fire will never quench, it burns forever. But My people, who are redeemed with the blood of My only Son before the creation of the world, are joking with it."

"Christians are taking for granted a place that can never be filled up with souls. My people have refused to understand that second per second, souls that tasted the truth are going to Hell. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” Hosea 4:6. They lack the knowledge to detect the danger that is ahead of them. They live as they like. The world is ruling My people rather than My people ruling the world. The Church which is the body of Christ is welcoming sin. Sin has dominated My Church from the pulpit to the pews. Nobody is innocent of intentional sin. Everyone is guilty, some of the ministers of the gospel are a disappointment to Me, says the Lord. They practice cultism. They are diabolic. They mix cultism with Christianity, deceiving the naïve and innocent believers whose wishes were to please Me by faith. But I will be merciful to whom I want to show mercy and those diabolic gospel ministers will not go unpunished. Those ministers who trusted totally on the Lord their God will experience positive changes in their lives.”

The Lord warned me and said, “You have seen what happened to people as a result of their mistakes. If you don’t want to be like them, go back to the pattern of lifestyle I gave you and don’t ever compromise your faith for any reason. Although you will be laughed and reproached but don’t mind and any day you turned aside to do as other ministers of the gospel are doing, you will be like them in Hellfire because much grace has been given to you to escape Hell. Be vigilant! Watch and pray! The days are evil!”

NOW IS THE AMENDMENT TIME

Amendment is worth doing now than to regret later. I will tell you what I mean. A driver wrote on his vehicle, “Delay is dangerous” in other words, a delay is risky. The preacher in Ecclesiastes said. “To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under the Heaven: a time to born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted” (Ecclesiastes 1:1-2 KJV)

As the preacher has said, there is time for everything. You may have been living a life that is contrary to the Bible thinking you are on the right track. You may have discovered, after reading through chapter two and chapter three, that your life is sinful to God, and you ask, what do I do? The answer is simple.

Jeremiah has an answer to your question, “Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the Lord your God and the Lord will repent of the evil He hath pronounced against you” (Jeremiah 26:15 KJV)

Beloved, you have to turn back to God and ask Him to forgive your sins. In proverbs, we have this statement, “HE THAT COVERETH HIS SINS shall not prosper but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” (Proverb 28:13 KJV).

When you turn back to God, you shouldn’t keep silent. You ought to confess your sins to Him. If you keep silent, it means that you are saying that you don’t have any sin. And John says, “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” (1 John 1:8-10 KJV)

So, when you have confessed your sins, God will forgive you. As your sins are forgiven, there are 5 things which you must do. These five things will help you in this Heavenly race which is listed below:

1. Knowing how God deals with you

2. Know what God has called you to do

3. Mind your words

4. Mind your relationship with others

5. Control your feelings

KNOWING HOW GOD DEALS WITH YOU

God has a way of dealing with everybody. The way He deals with you may not be the way He deals with me. God’s dealing with mankind cannot be questioned because He does His things the way He is pleased. As our faces are different, so God our maker deals with us differently. The reason God deals with us differently is that our destinies are not the same. He knows our beginning and end. He can tell the end even before the beginning of a particular event. He understands our temperaments as well as our behavioral attitudes. So God in His pleasure has chosen the way to treat each of us. And God said “Esau I hate but Jacob I love.” (Romans 9:13 KJV)

He hated Esau when Esau did not do anything wrong to Him. But He loved Jacob who was a dishonest person. That is God for man, so we have no right questioning Him why He deals with His creations differently. Having an understanding of how God deals with us will help us run our race faithfully. And how God deals with us will help us run our race faithfully. And when we understand that God has a specific way of dealing with each of us, we won’t be doing things the way people around us are doing. But we would be doing them the way God wants us to do it. Let it be registered in your mind that, the fact that Mr. Brown did evil and went unpunished, does not mean that when you do the same evil you will go unpunished. Your relationship with God and Mr. Brown’s relationship with God is not the same. There is a difference.

So, it is expedient we find out how God deals with us in order to know whether we are heading to success or to disaster. Some Christians did not find out how God deals with them. They FOLLOWED THE PATTERN OF OTHER MINISTRIES THEY ENVY OR LIKE and they were unable to find out whether God was pleased with them for using that pattern. Those ministers were interested in the pleasant things people were saying about them and not what God was saying concerning their ministerial pattern at that moment. They abandoned what God has called them to do and were doing what gave them joy.

THE THIRTEENTH PERSON

Then the Lord said to me, “Why can’t My people exercise patience with Me? See this woman (suddenly a figure of a woman appeared); she was married for seven years. Before she got married, she was a firebrand Christian. When she got married, she maintained her prayer life for a year and six months before she started backsliding in her prayer life because of child issue. Her husband was not worried about childbearing, but she did.”

“In one of her prayers, I promised her a child whose prophetic life will be as the prophetic life of the biblical Samuel. But she was impatient with Me. In My calendar, I appointed the seventh month of the seventh year of her marriage, a time to fulfill My promise to her. However, she had been praying and fasting going from one deliverance ministries to another. Although those places had a godly foundation, I didn’t appreciate her going to those places because I was waiting on My appointed time to come. Six years had passed, yet in the sixth month of the seventh year her friend misled her by convincing her to go with her to an herbalist. She was unaware that it was not a true herbalist home that she was taking her to but to a witchcraft doctor. She went there without the consent of her husband, and she was surprised to find herself in a devilish shrine.”

“However, when the witch doctor saw her, he called her by her name and told her that her problem was barrenness and that she has been in the condition for seven years. The man told her that she has come to her final bus stop. Then I, the LORD was watching to see what her reaction would be. She did not reject the place but rather she was impressed and overwhelmed by the prediction of the witch doctor. The man brought out a mirror, the mirror was round in shape. She was told to drop some money on the floor of the shrine to enable the witch doctor to detect the cause of her problem and she did it. Then the man shouted that the hand of God was responsible for her problem. Then he gave her a liquid substance to drink and she drank it and consequently, I removed My hand from her, as well as the covering that has been covering her womb so that she could be pregnant whenever her husband has sexual intercourse with her.”

“However,” I asked the Lord, “does it mean that the pregnancy came from the devil?” In response, the Lord said to me, “No, My son. Her pregnancy was natural like other women have pregnancy when they get married. My plan was to give her a place of honor on earth but she wasn’t patient to wait on My promise. Then, having drunk from the cup of the devil means that she is defiled and no defiled person will have part with Me.”

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

1 Corinthians 10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: you cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

“I waited on her day of travail in the labor room. I stopped the child from coming out and prevented the doctors from operating on her and she died.”

When the Lord made an end of His comment about the woman, a wind came and carried her back to the fire and she screamed and wept.

THE FOURTEENTH PERSON

After this, the Lord said to me, “Do you believe that masturbation can lead a believer to Hell?” “Yes I believe”, was my answer. “But can a Christian masturbate when he is born again?”, I asked Him. “Yes,” He responded, and added, “Those who do it are born again Christians but they have not overcome that aspect of sin and it leads to their destruction because no sinner will inherit the kingdom. It is prepared for the saints whose clothes do not have spots or wrinkles.”

Thus the Lord caused a figure to appear from the midst of the fire. The figure was a young man, a Pentecostal brother, and the Lord said to me, “Do you see that brother? That was what led him there (Hell). He masturbated his penis whenever he felt like having sex.”

THE FIFTEENTH & SIXTEENTH PERSONS

While I was still looking at the figure and was dumbfounded, the Lord caused another two more figures to appear from the fire. They are one brother and one sister from the same church. Tears were rolling down their cheeks and the LORD said to me, “These people went to an annual conference in Lagos, they are unmarried. On the night of the conference, when the night segment has ended, and while other participants were sleeping, they were awake and were masturbating. Then, at the end of the conference, they were involved in a motor accident on their way back, and they both died. That was how they landed in Hell.”

Gradually, a wind came and carried them back to the fire. They shrieked, wept and wailed.

THE SEVENTEENTH PERSON

More so, I was crying and couldn’t control my emotions because of the voice of souls screaming and pleading for God’s mercy. Then the Lord said, “Son! You should not cry for those in Hell rather cry for your salvation now that you are still alive because a little mistake can lead you to that place. I will show you, however, a man whose bribery life sent him to Hellfire.”

When the man appeared, maggots (above one and a half inches) were moving over his body. And the Lord said to me, “This man was perfect in all his works on earth but when he was lifted to a level of authority, he collected bribe forcefully from a widow who came to him for a job in one of the government organizations. The widow, from whom he collected bribe, sold her clothes and other items to meet the demands. Because of that bad behavioral attitude, I demoted him to the base level that contributed to his high blood pressure that resulted in his death.”

“For whatsoever exalts himself will be abased and he that humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 14:11)
