HEAVEN VISITATIONS 4

Jesus meets with the apostles, telling them what is happening in India, what is happening in the world and what He proposes to do. This is called the heavenly council. That is what we read the heavenly council. You read about it in Hebrews chapter 12 and in Daniel chapter 7 and in the book of Revelation also, the heavenly council. Because Amos 3:7 says God will not do anything without consulting His prophets.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.

He continues. In small matters, for example, on the 30th July 1967, I was in the crossroads of life, very sick. And while some of my friends were praying around my bed, the Holy Spirit came and I was taken to heaven and the Lord Jesus was seated on a beautiful throne and I saw a table before Him. Just because I saw Him on a throne and a table doesn't mean that He always has a table to write. That time He wanted me to see Him in that way, that's all. That's what I say, the supernatural power of God is beyond the comprehension of our human brain, the little brain which cannot understand how a man can go to the moon trying to guess what will be in heaven. The supernatural cannot be understood by the natural as 2 Corinthians 2:14 says, But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

He appeared to me in that way, that's all, just to receive me. He made up all this thing.

And then He asked me, "Will you serve Me full-time?"

I said, "No."

"Why you can't serve Me full-time?"

First of all, I was very angry He never inquired about my health. Yeah, here I was suffering so much, He never bothered to ask me how you're feeling and then He wants me to come and serve Him full-time? I said no.

The second thing I told Him was, "See, You have called so many people for the ministry but You have not given them even a pair of sandals, they walk barefoot. They wear shirts fully torn with holes. I can't do all that. By serving in the bank I get paid three times, I have good food, that is sufficient for me. I will not serve You."

Anyway finally He said, "Suppose I provide all these things to you, will you come?"

I had no other choice so I told Him, "Lord, I need You to fulfill four conditions."

"What is that?"

"Number one, wherever I go You must come with me. Whenever I stand to preach, You must stand by my side and whatever I ask, You must do and then finally You must take care of my family. You should not allow me to starve and go without clothes."

He quickly wrote the whole thing down and what looked like a parchment (just like a lawyer writing down an agreement) and it was glittering gold and writing in His own handwriting. He has something like a quill as they used to do in the Victorian days. He dipped and He wrote in His own handwriting. I have never seen such flowery handwriting.

I, Jesus Christ, promised My son DGS Dhinakaran the following things. He wrote and He signed, Jesus Christ.

Now, My son, DGS Dhinakaran promises Me he will serve Me full-time.

He gave me a heavenly covenant, a contract. He gave the quill to me to sign. So I have no other way except to grumble and sign but He fulfilled His word.

Now I'm coming to the point. Now when I came back the Holy Spirit came and I was wondering what should I do now? Should I resign my job? So where to begin? I promised Him that I will do full-time ministry for Him. So where do I begin now? And the Holy Spirit came.

The Holy Spirit asked me a question, "Son, He called you to do His ministry." I said yes.

"And you undertook to do this ministry?

"Yes."

"But did He tell you, from when?"

I said no.

He said, "In Ecclesiastes 8:6 there is the time for every prophecy to be fulfilled. Wait. Let the time come. He will tell you when to resign, then you resign."

Ecc 8:6 Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.

Thank God, He told me that.

Then He told me, "Son, in all your life you have suffered so much. You knew what is financial problems, what is debt, what is borrowing. So He, first of all, He wants to bless you abundantly in the material world. He wants to give you all your heart's desires, then He will call you for His ministry. Son, wait."

Thank God I waited. 17 years passed by. 17 years after God said that He would call me for full-time ministry.

For those called to do God's work, for those youngsters who have a zeal to serve the Lord and those who want to immediately get into the ministry of God. As soon as God calls you, listen, you have a wonderful experience and a lesson to learn from this great man of God who waited for 17 long years even after he has received the written mandate from the Lord Jesus Christ to come into ministry.

Brother DGS Dhinakaran, God gave you a written mandate to get into the ministry and why didn't you jump into the ministry on the second day itself because of the zeal with which you have to serve God?

I forgot to tell you one thing. When I told the Lord, "You called so many people for the ministry, but You have not given them even a good shirt to wear and some are walking barefoot in the hot sun. You never cared to give them even a pair of sandals. Then why should I come and get into the same problem myself also?"

Then He told me one thing, "My son, I had never called any of these people for My ministry. Just because they saw some success by praying for some people in My name, they were thoroughly worked up. Just because when they went and preached My Word and My Word wrought and brought a lot of people to repentance, they thought they are something. And just because I filled them with the Holy Spirit and wherever they went and ministered, the demons trembled because of the presence of the Holy Spirit, they thought now they are the most accomplished of the servants of God with mighty power to deliver the people and that unless they come into the ministry, there's no one else to do that job. The whole world is going to perish. So they resigned their jobs, they sold everything, they came on their own to do My ministry. I never called them. They are sitting at My back. I never called them. I am not responsible for their own choice. They have chosen to do this. They're done. They had to fend for themselves. I have never called them. They're sitting on My back." 

So this is one. Number two. I was relating about this experience, career, worldlywise person, but a great saint of God. Then He told me, "Brother. It is true that God has called you and all your spare time apart from your official work you are going for God's ministry. You are getting so many calls for preaching the conventions and addressing conferences and so on and it is marvelous. But one thing you should not forget the job that you have today is also given by the same Lord."

Matthew 7:11 says, '...Your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?"

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Here the Bible says the Father gives you only good things. If He is giving your job, He is giving you only a good thing. He gives you a job because you are poor and needy. You would have prayed and fasted and prayed and asked so many saints to pray for you just to get a job to earn a livelihood. So if you're going to kick at this job which God has given listening to your cry just like that, where's the guarantee that you will not do the same thing for His calling also?

That's a wonderful question. So He told me, "You wait, don't kick up the job which God has given. He may not tolerate, He may get upset."

Thank God for that advice. And of course, as I told you, then God the mighty Holy Spirit, that Comforter, He came, and He found the time to speak to me and tell me to wait for His time.

If you read John 2:4, and the mother of our Lord came and told Him the problem they have because there is a lack of wine. He said, "My time, Mama, has not come. I'm not My own. God has to tell me."

John 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come.

And John 5:19, Whatever the Lord Jesus Christ did, it was first shown to Him by God.

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do: for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

The Father would tell Jesus, "Today you have to do this, today you have to change the water into wine, today you have to raise Lazarus from the dead at such and such a time." So He said, "Mom, please allow Me to wait for the time to come. My Dad would have to tell Me, 'Now, He would have to say it for it to happen.' "

So thank God the Holy Spirit was so merciful and gracious to talk to me to say, "Don't resign your job. Wait."

Thank God, I waited for 17 years and then He said, "Now son, you are to start this engineering college. Leave the job, but I'll take care of you then."

Thank God, I had a good pension, gratuity from the bank. And now when the people sent money for the ministry, there are so many loved ones who send me small amounts, 10 rupees. Some people send me even two rupees every month and stating this is for my personal expense. Some were offering 100 rupees for the Jesus Calls ministry, but then they will include 2 rupees. These 2 rupees for Brother Dhinakaran and some people will say, "I saw you on the TV. You look so pale, so, you must take a tin of Horlicks." They will send money for that. This is for my personal use. of course, I declare everything to the government and my life and my hand, my heart is always clean and I mean I will have a good conscience as the Bible says in Acts 24:16, good conscience before men and before God.

Act 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.

I am treating what comes to the ministry as totally different from what comes to me personally. I use only what comes to me as a personal gift for my personal use nothing more than that. And of course, it's not so much. It's only what people sent out of love.

Now, the point I'm making is, when I waited for this time to come, He took care of me.

Now I'm going to answer the question of the heavenly council. Every year on the 20th of July from 1967, whether I forget or I do not remember, the Holy Spirit will come and fill me and He will say, "Son, come. Go to heaven."

And I would see a marvelous assembly of people exactly as you have an annual general body meeting of shareholders, the cabinet meeting of a government. It was the first time the Lord took me to this meeting. I saw on one side, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Elijah, Isaiah... I could easily identify them as the Holy Spirit used to tell me, this is so-and-so and so on. On another side, Paul, Peter the New Testament saints. And then the Lord will introduce me, "This is Dhinakaran, my son from India and he is working in a bank. I have called him for my full-time ministry. But I feel that this year also, I will allow him to work in the bank and do both simultaneously. What do you think about it?"

And then when the Almighty Son of God says, "Who will oppose it?" They said one by one, "Amen." "Amen." "Amen."

And the Lord lays hands on me and He blessed me and said, "Son, one more year I am giving you in the bank work and I will continue to use you with signs and wonders."

Oh, that would be the most blessed moment for me. This would happen every year and you see what Amos wrote in Amos 3:7. He will not do anything without consulting His prophets.

Now sometimes people wonder how God can tell me about the things He's going to do in the coming year. The same thing, in His mercy, He comes and He talks to me or He takes me. Oh, last time when I was in Singapore, early morning at 2 am, and I woke up for something else. Then came these marvelous, marvelous revelations. I saw this beautiful throne. I'm just wondering who should it be for. And He said, "I AM THAT I AM. I come to tell you what I propose to do next year."

Oh, He is marvelous. So what I'm trying to say, this heavenly council, unless they approve of it, He will not do anything. God doesn't go ahead with that. He keeps them at least informed what He's doing. And that's the prime reason choosing an ordinary fellow like me, and coming and telling me because, in His sight, He thinks, oh, he's a prophet - in His sight, not in my sight.

Even today, every day, I grumble and murmur, and unless I have spent hours in prayer, I'm not the real self even today, even after so many decades of walking with God. Yes. So if you read the book of Oswald J. Smith, the great man God, the great Christian statesman who shook the world when he was alive. He has written a book called "The Morning Watch." He says he gave his heart to God when he was quite young and except two times, one when he was traveling in an airplane and secondly when he had a very serious surgical operation, never has he missed the morning watch. You must get up in the morning, spend hours with the Lord. If that is the experience of such a great man, what am I today?

So as you start working with Him, the closer you walk, the closer you feel the necessity to have Him all the time with you. You dare not do anything by yourself. So every moment, you seek Him. 15 minutes you have some rest, you seek Him, "Oh these things I forgot to pray, let me pray now." So that becomes your habit. So we are like that.

But in His sight, He thinks, "I must tell Dhinakaran about that before I do it." What a great and magnanimous person God is. He loves doing that.

I also met this great hero called Moses. The most astonishing thing about Moses is, he looks exactly like Jesus. So if both of them stand together, they'll be like twins. Yes, you'll be wondering who is who. The one difference is the face of Christ will be full of love and compassion. The moment you see that face, you forget all about your worries and your problems. But the face of Moses is very, very gruff because he controlled so many people, just 2 million people, at least minimum he controlled. So you can see his stern face except that he looks exactly like the Lord Jesus.

Deuteronomy 18:15 The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen.

And you have these other people. Elijah and Enoch, both of them are in their physical bodies, but by their virtue of being in heaven for so many, many, many centuries, in the mighty presence of the Almighty God, you feel that their bodies have become shining gold in appearance. They're actually illuminated by God. What shall I say? The whole appearance, their whole form, even their physical bodies undergo a great change in the presence of God. It was something like what happened to Moses when he went up the mountain as you read in Exodus 34:30 and 35 his face began to radiate the mighty presence of God.

Exo 34:30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come nigh him.

Exo 34:35 And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again until he went in to speak with Him.

They say that about Evans Roberts who brought the mighty Welsh Revival in the United Kingdom. I read about him in Smith Wigglesworth books. He said in that valley that this man used to go and pray and pray and pray for God to send a revival and the people who used to see him from a distance used to see his face lighting up with God's glory. So it is just like that in heaven with Enoch and Elijah.

So the first time I was taken to that place. The moment Elijah saw the Lord Jesus, the question he asked Him, "Lord, has the time come for me to go back to the world?" Enoch too put a similar query. The Lord immediately said to both of them. "No, not yet. Wait."

According to Revelation 11 and Zachary 4, there are two witnesses who are to come back.

Rev 11:3-4 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Zec 4:11-14 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

When the Lord took you to meet a lot of people in heaven, did they talk anything to you?

Yes. And the marvelous thing is the great love of Samson. I used to imagine he was a very, very tough guy. And I also used to wonder how the list contained in Hebrews 11:32 how God can mention the name of Samson. He sinned and he fell.

Heb 11:32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets.

So one day when I was talking to Samson, a man full of love. Samson looked very tall. And as I said, the bodies of Elijah and Enoch, and his body looks the same and full of God's glory. And he embraced me. He used to every time encouraged me. "Carry on. God is with you."

Twice, what he said really moved my heart. Once, he said when he was praying the last prayer, both his eyeballs were gone and his power was gone. His anointing was gone. His supernatural physical strength was gone. He was a prisoner to the Philistines and he said, "I felt so miserable. And when that moment came when I said this is the time to take revenge for my two eyes, I really cried thinking about my mistake. Why did I go after these Philistine whores? Why did I forget the command of God to deliver the Israelites? That should have been uppermost in my mind and I wanted to only take revenge but in my heart, I was crying all that I have done, really asking God's forgiveness and to forgive me and to give me my power back. Remember me just this one time." And he says, "and when the grace of God came upon him, first the grace of God to erase his past. Hallelujah! Right, when he was here on this earth, yes, that moment when he was praying, "Lord, remember just this one time, just this one time." God remembered him and send this grace and he says, "First, He totally forgave me and made me a new man inside." Then His mighty Holy Spirit came and I got back all that I lost. One side, spiritual losses having made good; the other side, his mighty anointing, and power, that supernatural physical strength came and he said, "That's why I'm here today."

Oh, that moved me to tears. He was very happy about that. Oh, he is so happy. Just to encourage me, he was telling me about the grace of God. So when a man of God repents until he gets back the anointing he has lost, he is given back the anointing he has lost. So we cannot prejudge saying that Samson is a failure and so he cannot get back to God. We should never do that because the Lord has said whether a servant of God stands or fall, he is responsible only to his master, not to you or me.

Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

1 Cor 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

And the Bible says, For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again. (Proverbs 24:16)

So Samson is a man full of love and one time as I was in the presence of Christ, Samson told the Lord something very precious. He said, "Lord Jesus, make his legs strong." He asked Jesus Christ to make my legs strong. "You gave me so much strength, give him some strength," and the Lord smiled. I strongly believe after listening to Samson that only the Lord touched my legs after so many years. Amen. That's an amazing miracle.

This man Jonah is a short man. And he told me that when he was in the belly of the fish, everything was dark and the acid from the belly of the fish would come and digest him. His whole skin burnt and he cried out, "Lord, be merciful." And then the grace of God comes, just comforting, consoling him, removing that burning sensation and he used to feel so much comforted and the grace of God will be so soothing to him. Everything will stop.

After some time, the same pain will come again and he would cry in pain, the grace of God would come like a soothing balm, it'll come and he said, "Three days were miserable. But it was the grace of God that sustained me without allowing those acids to come and totally consume me." Oh, that was really moving.

Like that, every saint of God, Elijah, and Elisha. Elijah also was a man of great love, but very tall, much taller than me. And he would also encourage me. He would say, "My son, when Jezebel said, 'Tomorrow, by this time your head will be off,' I was trembling full of fear. So don't think just because you get this fear in your heart, that you're falling from grace. It comes to everybody."

So this is how I learned that to be fearful is not a sin. It's not a weakness. Yes. The Bible says in Proverbs 28:14, it's always good to be reverent before God. Good to be reverent before God.

Pro 28:14 Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

So likewise, each saint of God in heaven has something to tell me at some juncture, when you don't feel that you are 100% in the will of God. Why should this happen? Why that should happen? Why this man should write like this about you? And when you cry, the Lord Jesus instead of answering your question directly, He takes you and makes you meet the saint concerned who went through a similar experience. And then through them, he will comfort you and console you.

Did you meet this man whom God made first? This man called Adam?

No, I have never seen him and have not seen an Eve.

And on the women's side, who are the people you have seen in heaven.

I have seen Mary, the mother of our Lord, and the modern ministers like Mrs. Aimee Semple McPherson. Once I was praying for my wife, and we were going through much mental agony. I used to go to a church very near to my home in a particular city, and on a Sunday, when they used to distribute the communion they will give me the bread and the wine, but they will flatly deny that for my wife, the reason she was wearing the marriage sign (tali or pendant worn around the neck by Indian married women, which some Christians frown upon as a Hindu custom.). So they were a little legalistic about it. And what shall I say, Puritans? That was their doctrines, I never clash with anyone because I am always considered an idiot where theology is concerned. I let them believe what they want. Yeah, yes I have never gone to any Bible college. I never studied any theology. The only theology I know is that God is love and He is love and compassion.

So the Lord took me and I met Mrs. McPherson. He said, "This is Mrs. McPherson who shook the world." When Mrs. McPherson visited London, the newspapers in London wrote, "Mrs. McPherson is coming to drive away the devil in London." She had such mighty authority and I was talking to her and she said when she was in this world, her first husband gave her a chain of pearl and she used to adore it and wear it until she died. She said, "What is wrong with all these small things? Don't make a big issue of it."

So likewise, I have talked to the Lord for guidance. I had the heart operation on the 10th January 1990. 60 days after that I was kept in the hospital because the doctors never want to take any chance. They looked after me with so much love and motherly care and then when I came home I was a total, what shall I say? invalid person. Below the hip, I had no power and six months I was in agony.

And on the 26th of September, after six months, one day the Holy Spirit came in all His mighty power, made me come out of the bed and walk. Then He said, "On the second of October, arrange a big meeting and present yourself to the people because of all those people who really prayed and prayed for you are eager to see you alive. So you arrange a meeting." I said, "Yes Lord."

But then a great fear came. In my heart, I was thinking I had never stood up on the platform without fasting and praying and I have never been so weak. I don't think I can stand for more than five minutes. So what am I going to do?

One day, early morning, I was sitting in my room and a physiotherapist came. He made me do some exercises. And he went away and it was really perplexing. How am I going to stand and preach? Suddenly I saw the Lord Jesus Christ coming into my room. Then He turned and smiled. Then I looked back, and I saw my departed daughter, Angel, coming exactly as if she's in flesh and blood. And she came and sat by my side. I couldn't believe. Angel has come back exactly as she would do. She came and sat by my side. Then she said, "Dad, it is true that you have never preached without fasting and praying for so many days without meticulously preparing a sermon. And I know that your body's so weak and tender and so much of weakness still remains. It is true that you cannot stand for more than five minutes or 10 minutes. But one thing, Dad, the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit which God has given to you, has not been taken away. It is still there in your life, in your heart, in your soul. It is still there. So stand up. The rest will be done by these gifts. The gifts will take over."

Then she stood up and the Lord Jesus said, "We will go." He smiled at me because He knew if my daughter says something, it'll be very valuable to me.

So He left with her but that anointing that He gave me that time, the very presence of Christ will give you the mighty anointing. I became bold like a lion and went there.

All the weaknesses did not prevent me from going there and I stood only for 10 minutes. He sustained me joy, the happiness of the people, oh that was incomparable. The people who cried for my life, they were so happy and gifts began to come into operation.

From there we went from city to city. Very initially when I stood up to preach the same old strength came and the anointing came and I called out the name of a person, "Sister Gomathi." It's not a Christian name. "Sister Gomathi. This is your life story. You are praying for your family to come towards Jesus. Lord Jesus is fulfilling it. Your husband's name is Krishnan. This is what you have been praying. God is blessing you both. Tonight He is taking you under His care." Lo and behold, Gomathi came along with her husband. Yes. She told her husband's name and gave her testimony in writing.

So what the Lord Jesus Christ wanted to tell. He made my daughter to come and tell me so that I will believe.

So any part of the Bible you read and you don't understand what is meant by that, the Holy Spirit comes and takes me to heaven. You can ask Peter, "Why you wrote like this?" It is amazing. For example, does Peter remember what he wrote in the Bible those days at that time? Yes. When you ask him, the Holy Spirit brings to his memory, the whole thing that's the power of God. Then he will say, "See here, here and here."

For example, the gift of the word of knowledge. Quite often I meet Paul and he made me understand First Corinthians 5:3 and Colossians 2:5. In both places, he was in another place.

In 1 Cor 5:3 he says, For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed.

In Colossians 2:5 he says, For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.

He says, "I'm very happy about two things. Number one, the orderly way in which you conduct your service. Number two, the amazing faith that you have. He is able to look into their hearts while sitting in another place from afar.

So likewise, you see when the Lord Jesus Christ wants to explain certain things to you, He takes you and He makes you meet those saints. Likewise, I can go on telling many, many, many things which the Lord made them explain. And it is really amazing. It opens up your eyes and they're able to give you a solution from the Scriptures. Not just a solution plucked from the air but from the Scriptures, "Here He said like this, there He said like that." That strengthens me. Then I know I'm 100% on the right path. Nothing that the people speak against you will move you when you know that you're on the right path. Your faith is strengthened and you come back totally refreshed and you forget all about your worries and fears, most of all, fears.
