WITNESS OKWUDILICHUKWU 6

8 GOSPEL MINISTERS & 17 CHURCH WORKERS IN HELL

PART 6

THE SECOND PERSON

I was a number of a Pentecostal Denomination, and was baptized in the year 1994. Being a female usher in my church, I often come to church very early before the commencement of the church service, both Sunday and weekly service. Then as time progresses, I fell sick and was treated medically but all medical treatment proved abortive. There was no evidence of improvement. Medical specialists were consulted but the sickness defied their efforts. I was taken to several prayer ministries but there was no remedy. Then my parents decided to consult an herbalist, and in their ignorance, the herbalist was an occult grandmaster, who eats with the devil, and he was among the group of people that inflicted me with the sickness, yet I was unaware.

When the herbalist was consulted, he told my parents that my case was very easy to handle. His predictions of the places we have gone to seek remedy were accurate and with these, my parents were convinced. But the amount of money they were asked to bring was incomplete. Then, I had some money in my wardrobe which I consented that they should take, if it would help to get my problem solved. I was given a concoction to drink by the herbalist, and I drank it, hoping that it will bring a positive result but it brought a negative one. In the night that followed that day, I could not sleep because I was troubled. At midnight, a figure appeared in black and red. It was the figure of a man. Then the man spoke up to me, “Young lady, you said you are a child of God, a daughter of Zion but you have drunk from the devil’s cup. For long you have been disturbing us with your prayers while we have been looking for an opportunity to entrap you and finally, you have succumbed to us. You were DEFILED IMMEDIATELY YOU DRANK THE CONCOCTION which I gave to your parents and the money you gave your parents is with us. Therefore, you are going with me now,’’ Then he touched my chest and my spirit left my body and I didn’t return. I died because I consented and gave my money TO CONSULT A HERBALIST.

Brethren, we are surrounded by enemies and the enemies whom we do not know are greater than those we know. Satan and his agents are strategically fighting against heaven-bound Christians to deprive them of their eternal home – heaven. The sister was deprived of heaven because her money was given to an herbalist who was a devil incarnate. Please note that she was found guilty of giving her money to the devil (compromise) and of drinking from the devil’s cup (DEFILEMENT). “You cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and from the cup of demons too…” (1 Corinthians 10:21). And Paul advised us to put our trust in God no matter the challenges we are faced with, so that the devil will not use it to gain an advantage with which he will destroy our lives. May God protect you against the plots of your enemies in the name of Jesus Christ.

THE THIRD PERSON

We were five in the family. My dad died when I was 13. Then I was sent to serve a man in the trade of motor spare parts at Nnewi, Anambra state. Our agreement was that my service to him would be seven years. Being a servant, my master loved and treated me as a brother instead of a servant, which in turn I served him with all my heart and efforts. His wish was that I would stay with him forever because of how he loved me, but we had an agreement of seven years’ service to him. At the end of the seven years, he settled me as we agreed. While he was making a speech on the day of settlement, tears were rolling down his two checks for he had wished I was his blood brother.

Before the seventh year of my service, a friend of mine took me to a crusade that was organized by his church. That was where I gave my life to Jesus Christ. This happened in the third year of my service to my master. Having accepted Jesus into my life, my master loved and trusted me more. However, as the settlement day was approaching, I diverted some of the money which belonged to my master to the account of my friend, who consented with me. My master did not notice it. My mother, my uncle and two other witnesses were there when my master handed seven hundred and eighty thousand naira to me as a token of the settlement of my service to him and he made a promise to guide me on how to use the money in the business. He rented a shop for me to start off a business with the money.

Then, when I started my own business, the business grew faster with the help of my master. I traveled almost every two months overseas. My master gave me business connections. Whenever I would travel for business, I would go to the companies where my master usually buys goods and ordered containers of goods for him as he directed, as well as my own containers of goods. But one day, I was involved in a fatal accident that took away my life. When I was facing judgment, I was found guilty of stealing my master’s money and that was the only offense I committed. However, I was not given the grace to go back and confess my sin to my master.

And he screamed and wailed.

Having heard all that the young man told me, my hands began to shake, my knees started knocking. I could not hold my emotions any more than cry for God’s mercy and grace upon my life. The statement of the third person calls for restitution. Some preachers say, restitution is confessing your sin to the person one sinned against. But I disagree with them because according to A S Hornby (Oxford Dictionary special price edition 2001:1003), restitution is the act of giving back something that was lost or stolen to its owner.

Presently, you hardly hear about restitution on the pulpit. Out of a thousand preachers in the world, about nine hundred and seventy don’t preach about restitution. I believe they are more interested in preaching a message that will please the church instead of the Owner of the church. Let everyone who knows that he had lost what somebody placed in his care pay it back except the owner asked him to forget about it (that is he had forgiven him for losing what he placed in his care). And let those who had taken what did not belong to them return it to the rightful owner to save their lives from the danger of Hellfire. For anybody who has taken what doesn’t belong to him, no matter the qualification he has acquired or his position in the Christendom or in the secular world is a thief!

“Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves, those who indulge in sexual sin or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are made prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkard, or abusive, or cheat people none of these will inherit the kingdom of God’’. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NLT).

Please return everything that does not belong to you. But if you cannot return them because they have spoilt or lost and you don’t have money to pay for them, pray to God, talk to God about it and ask Him to touch the owner(s) of the items as you go to him to explain how it happened and to ask him to forgive you. I tell you, God will do something about it. But if you refuse to restitute what you have taken, because of the physical implications or legal consequences, hear what the Bible says, “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for My sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 8:35-37 KJV).

The choice is yours. You have the right to make your choice, and the choice you make will affect you positively or negatively, either in this present world or in eternity.
